Bowled Over by Broadbottom

3 miles Grade 3 Easyish Quiet lanes, wooded Clough, farmland . Once an area full of huge cotton mills there is still much industrial archaeological evidence to be seen . Lots of interpretive boards. Very muddy in places , some steep SHORT sections especially rising from the valley bottom . Walking poles would be useful. After the walk we shall eat at the Garden Centre which serves amazing , good value food . It is also a delicatessen, Farm Shop, Gift Shop stoking local produce and gifts .
